St. Peter's Chapel, Bradwell, 2016

In response to our Twitter call for #quiet places in Essex, I drove out to the Dengie with my friend Dee, who suggested that the Dengie or Bradwell could be the quietest place in Essex.

After a nice tour of the sea wall and surrounding area we ventured inside the ancient St. Peter’s Chapel. After a few other people had left we sat and enjoyed the peacefulness, sun streaming through the window and a change of acoustics. I’m not sure somewhere ‘inside’ qualifies as a ‘quiet place’ in the context of this project but thought it should be included nevertheless.
