Saffron Walden market, 2016
Saffron Walden market
I had a great wander about town this morning, crate digging in charity shops for rare vinyl (didn’t find anything interesting), and hanging about in the market, which stretched up King Street and in to Market Square.
According to Ginny, the host of the B&B I was staying at, the fruit and veg guys were usually on top form. So I positioned myself behind their stall so as to get as near as possible without making it too obvious I was recording them (having learned a few lessons from recording fruit and veg guys in Chelmsford and Braintree). But, as luck would have it, they weren’t feeling particularly loud or enthusiastic this morning.
I did however record plenty of passers-by and a lady giving out flyers, and, for once, there was no traffic to contend with.
