Carousel at Romford market, 2017

Romford has been rather neglected on the map so far, so I took a trip to Romford Market just before Christmas to try and capture some of the festive spirit. At the easternmost end of Market Place there was a Trentham & Sons carousel, haunted house, and some fairground amusements, all of which you can hear on this recording, alongside some passing shoppers and the man running the carousel, who wasn’t so keen on talking to me at first but then couldn’t be quiet whilst I was actually recording.
