A normal spring Tuesday morning, 2020

Working from home, recorded with phone next to open upstairs front window at about 09:30 on Tuesday 21st April 2020. Was a bit breezy so you can’t quite hear the doves going off in the background, but they are definitely there (hundreds of them round here). No regular aeroplane or traffic noise from A120, trains in and out of Cressing station are more noticeable than usual. Other than that not so far from a normal Spring Tuesday morning in Black Notley.

Partway into the recording, you can hear the footsteps of a chap walking his Jack Russell along the road in front of my house; the jingling noise was the dog’s name tags rattling against the metal clip on the end of its lead.
