In a clearing, Highwoods, 2016

Recorded whilst on a walk in Highwoods Country Park with photographer Joe-Elliot Purtell. Microphones were configured in a 110 degree ORTF stereo array.

This was recorded further along the path from the Forest Noise recording, at about 4:00 pm. There were trees surrounding in every direction. You can hear various families on weekend walks through the woods. The birds were particularly vocal here as well – both in the distance and in close proximity to the microphone. You can also hear Joe and his camera shutter clicking away!
