I had intended to record some of the people fossil hunting beneath the cliffs on the beach, but I had just taken up position when a small portion of the cliff came trickling down. If you look at the Google Earth images of this area, you’ll see a lot of recent cliff slippage, so I moved swiftly on. I came to a more sedate place nearer the top of The Naze peninsula where the waves were small and there was no danger of being buried alive. A dog seemed to be enjoying this spot too.
