Urban life quite suits swifts. Modern houses without eaves are no good to them, but streets of houses, gardens, and parks are everything they need.
The year or so before this recording, there were loads about. Where I am, they feed above the gardens in the evening. The insects are lower down then, so there was more chance of them flying low overhead or circling nearby. This was an attempt to record that, taken around about 9pm.
