The Naze Tower, 2016
You can’t visit The Naze without seeing the Tower, which was built as a navigational aid in 1720. It’s actually called the the Hanoverian Tower, but more commonly known as the Naze Tower, and it’s a pretty impressive structure whichever way you look at it.
I was worried about the amount of time left on my parking ticket but decided to scale the tower quickly instead of spending another 80p. So, I somewhat hurriedly made a recording as I climbed the stairs to the top, but it didn’t come out so well. This recording of the flag at the top filled up the memory card in my recorder (school boy error) and therefore is less than 2 minutes long. And it has a council lawnmower starting up halfway through, but it’s all I managed, so it will have to do. To top things off, when I returned to the car, the ticket I’d bought was still tucked in the sun visor out of the sight of any warden… of which there were none.
