Fog horn medley 3, 2017

The third and final part of the fog horn medley was recorded from the path that runs behind Adventure Island and underneath the pier. You could hear that there were actually two ships sounding out: the first, slightly louder, off over the other side of the pier towards Shoebury, and the second out towards Leigh-on-Sea with the pier warble as a constant. You also hear a car pass behind. This is one of the Adventure Island staff going off back to the seafront.

The photo is looking towards The Three Shells Kiosk, the new lagoon, part of The Shrubbery, Cliffs Lift, etc, all being serenaded in the fog.
